DocOnTime - Doctor Appointment Booking App with Online Payments

Small clinics and independent doctors, especially in towns and semi-urban areas, still rely on walk-ins and phone calls for appointments. This leads to long waiting times, overcrowded clinics, no record of past visits, and no easy way to collect booking fees in advance. Doctors also had no simple tool to publish their timings, break hours, and working days to patients.

We designed a two-role system (Patient and Doctor) with a single entry point, keeping the flow simple enough for first-time smartphone users. Role labels were shown in both English and Hindi to support local users. The booking form only asks for essentials (name, age, village, mobile number), and Razorpay was integrated so patients can pay a small platform fee at the time of booking. The UI was made responsive for both phones and tablets.

Successfully published on the Google Play Store (com.docontime.appointments) with 10+ installs so far. The app delivers a complete booking-to-payment flow for patients and a working doctor portal, and serves as a ready base that can be customised for clinics and hospitals.
